Board our private coach to be whisked away to Woodside (on the Peninsula) to visit the Filoli Historic House & Gardens, which boasts 654 acres of beauty nestled along the slopes of California’s coastal range. Originally built as a private residence in 1917, Filoli was opened to the public in 1975 and is a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The property is considered one of the finest remaining country estates of the 20th century, featuring a 54,000+ square-foot Georgian Revival-Style Mansion, 16 acres of exquisite English Renaissance Gardens, a 6.8-acre Gentleman’s Orchard, and hundreds of acres of Natural Lands with 5 distinct ecosystems, and a 1-mile Estate Trail.
Begin with free time for a Self-Guided House Tour, then meet a docent for a Private Guided Garden Tour. Take a bit more free time to visit the Gift Shop and stroll as you like.
Next, take the coach to San Francisco and indulge in a delightful High Tea at Lovejoy’s Tea Room in Noe Valley.
Return to Marin with wonderful memories of a lovely daytrip!

At Lovejoy’s, each guests will enjoy the “High Tea” Tea Service including Tea Sandwiches (view selection below), served with Cabbage Salad w/Caraway Cream Dressing, Organic Spring Greens w/Mandarin Oranges & Light Vinaigrette, a Scone w/Preserves & Devon Cream, a Tea Biscuit and a Bottomless Pot o’ Tea.

COACH TIMES: Coach “Departure/Pick-Up Times” are steadfast. Guests missing the coach’s departure are responsible for finding and paying for their own transportation to the events. Using Lyft or Uber is recommended.
TEA MENU: Unfortunately, substitutions to the menu are not available. Refund/credit is not given for food/courses not consumed. Any food/beverages ordered outside of the planned group menu, if accommodated, will be charged directly the guest(s) placing the order.
EXCURSION TICKETS: Excursion tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. They are, however, transferable so may be given to a friend or family member to attend should the original purchaser be unable to join us.
