Food & Wine Pairing Lab

Can you create perfect pairings or are you paralyzed by the rules?

Come play with your food and wine as we taste 36 combinations and discuss each student’s impressions and preferences. Learn about pairing theories (and exceptions) and the progression of flavors in multi-course meals. Challenging food ingredients will also be reviewed and how to overcome the hurdles they present. You will gain a great deal of confidence in pairing wine and food and lose your fears.

• 2 hours of live class with Master Sommelier David Glancy
• Guided tasting of 6 Domenico wines
• 6 small bites with separate flavor profiles for pairing

AN EXCELLENT EXPLORATION IN PAIRING!

This food pairing lab was an amazing experience! Not only do you learn the “rules” of pairing with great examples, you also get a chance to learn your own pairing preferences, tips and tricks, and how small components can make a huge difference. It was eye opening to see how people’s preferences influenced their pairings, and especially interesting to understand what did NOT work. Highly recommended for anybody that likes to eat and drink!
