The workshop will begin with a quick tour of the farm which will be mostly tucked in for its long winter nap. During this workshop, we will be sharing how to create a stunning holiday wreath using an assortment of traditional and unusual foliage, seeds, and dried flowers. As we explore the field’s we will share our secrets for selecting the best foliage for exterior versus interior hanging wreaths. After our tour, we will gather on our event patio for a demonstration on how to create your own wreath. Then we will dig in and everyone will make their own unique wreath to take home with support and guidance from our FBF crew. We will have farmcrafted snacks and our homemade strawberry lemonade! We will provide all of the tools and materials you will need for creating your own unique wreath. These wreaths are truly one of a kind creations that our customers love during the holiday season.
*Open to everyone – this is a fun and supportive atmosphere. Because we will be touring the farm, we will encounter uneven and varied terrain and because of the season, it is bound to be muddy so choose your footwear accordingly. If it is a dry evening, we will work on our event patio which is accessible and level, but is a wood mulched surface. If it is rainy, we will work undercover in our open barn area. Please dress in layers as the temperatures and weather are very unpredictable but it is often cold and wet this time of the year.
