You may have survived last year, but it’s time to test your tastebuds again at Hot Ones 2: Revenge of the Sauce Trivia Night! Get ready to test your knowledge and heat tolerance as we challenge you with 40 fiery questions that will have you sweating, both mentally and physically. This event is exclusively for those aged 18 and over, as we turn up the heat to create an unforgettable experience. Survive the game and the wings and you could walk away with cold, hard cash! Grand Prize is $250, Second Prize is $100 and Third Prize is $50!
Teams will compete head-to-head, battling through rounds of mind-bending spicy questions from pop culture and history to science and everything in between, these trivia questions will put your knowledge to the test. But here’s the twist – the intensity increases with each passing round!
As the game progresses, teams will face the heat of the infamous Hot Ones wings. If a team fails to answer correctly, they will be eliminated from the round. However, don’t despair! The brave souls who are eliminated can re-enter the game by facing a spicy challenge: eating progressively hotter wings.
So gather your most fearless friends, put your trivia knowledge to the test, and prepare for a night of heat, laughs, and unforgettable moments at Hot Ones Trivia Night. It’s time to bring the fire and show off your spicy skills!
T HE RULES:
– Before game night, please choose one of the following:
– Fried Chicken Wings – all drumsticks
– Fried Cauliflower “Wings”
– Each team can only choose one or the other and to make sure we have your option available, please choose as soon as possible.
– There are 40 questions in total and there can be only 1 winner. If your team answers a question wrong (including “accidental” multiple choice selections made by your team) or fails to answer a question before time has run out, then the team is eliminated from the game. While Wi-Fi is provided by the Britannia Arms Almaden, we are not responsible for internet failures so you can choose to use your cellular service if you prefer.
– There are 6 rounds of questions. If your team answers a question incorrectly, you can use one of your 2 Hot Lifelines to get back into the game. You must use your Hot Lifeline immediately after being eliminated befor the next round begins.
– If you use one of your Hot Lifelines, all players on your team will have 30 seconds to finish a wing with the sauce associated with that round. Players must finish the wing within the 30 second time frame before taking a drink of any kind. – Each team will have the same spice level serving each round, so if your team’s first Hot Lifeline is in the second round, you’ll be eating the second round sauce.
– Each serving will have the sauce applied by RiskyQuizness in order to ensure that an equal amount is applied to each team’s serving for that round..
– Teams cannot bring their own food, beverages or other “cooling devices” to the game. For example, if you’d like milk, you’ll need to order milk from your server.
– If more than one team makes it through all questions, the winner will be determined by points earned by answering the fastest throughout the game.
