BRINGING THE WORLD TOGETHER WITH THE SOUNDS OF CELLO
Back by popular demand: internationally acclaimed cellist, composer, and multilingual vocalist Ian Maksin is returning to Chez Nous in the midst of his world tour in an effort to bring people together and restore peace thorough music.
From West Africa to the Balkans and from Mongolia to Andalusia, Maksin and members of international Zaria Band will take you on a magical musical journey beyond space and time and serenade you with love songs from his collection of more than 200 songs in 30+ languages, amassed during his world travels.
He will also perform original compositions from his instrumental albums Amor Renatus, Alchemist and Sempre as well as brand new music that hasn’t been yet recorded.
🇺🇦 Portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales and merch will be donated to ForWellbeing, a charitable organization providing medical and psychological support to families affected by war in Ukraine and children suffering from PTSD.
