Join Councilmember Salwan and City staff on a fun and informative stroll of Warm Springs! City staff will be leading an hour-long walk through the Warm Springs neighborhood near Warm Springs BART to share about existing and proposed transportation facilities, hear input and ideas from the community, and celebrate the joy of walking in your neighborhood. This is one of the walking and biking events the City is hosting as part of our Active Transportation Plan (ATP). Feel free to join for only the beginning of the event or part of the walk to share your input.

We’ll be starting at Warm Springs BART station on Lopes Court; see the map and image below for the starting point location and look for staff holding a “Neighborhood Walk: Warm Springs” sign. From our starting point, we’ll walk around the Warm Springs BART neighborhood with stops along the way, including Lila Bringhurst Community Park/ Elementary School.
This is a key opportunity to learn more about transportation in Warm Springs and for your councilmember and City staff to hear from the community about their needs and ideas about transportation, like input about walking and rolling to Lila Bringhurst Elementary School, and access to the community park, Warm Springs BART station and Warm Springs Senior Center.
