Out of the Barrel – San Carlos: Craft Beer Festival & Invitational Competition
Come join us at Out of the Barrel San Carlos for a day filled with amazing craft beer! This in-person event will take place in the outdoor courtyard at 555 El Camino Real, San Carlos, CA, USA (rain or shine) on Saturday, 2/17/2024 from 2 – 6pm. Get ready to taste a wide variety of unique and delicious craft beers from our favorite craft brewery partners from the Bay Area and beyond.
At this premier Craft Beer Festival, you’ll have the opportunity to sample different types of beer, from crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, to fruit forward sours, in a commemorative branded taster glass. Discover new favorites, chat with fellow beer enthusiasts, and meet the brewers! The festival will also feature live music, food trucks, and fun activities for all ages.
The highlight of the event is the Invitational Competition where top breweries will showcase their best brews among four targeted categories: Light Ale/Lager, West Coast IPA, Hazy IPA, and Sour. Witness the excitement as an expert panel of judges review all entries in a blind competition where the best liquid takes home the bragging rights. Additionally, all participants get to select their favorites as a separate People’s Choice competition. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the art of craft beer and support these amazing local breweries.

This event is located adjacent to the San Carlos Caltrain station. There is also a dedicated ride sharing pickup/dropoff station on the north side of the building on El Camino Real. Take the train or catch a ride and get home safe!
