Join us for a pint-filled event on November 30th! Pints for Parkinson’s San Carlos is holding its first-ever fundraiser at the newest taproom in town – Out of the Barrel. We are bringing together beer enthusiasts to help raise funds for a recently launched program called Ping Pong for Good (https://www.pingpongforgood.org/). This program uses science-backed ping pong drills to improve brain and body health, thus improving the quality of life and promoting healthy aging for those living with Parkinson’s disease.

This local chapter of Ping Pong for Good currently holds classes on Fridays at 888TTC , a state-of-the-art 30,000 sq ft facility in Burlingame, with a coaching staff comprised of some of the world’s top professionals. The Bay Area pilot was launched in August 2023 and has been well received. In order to keep the program running beyond 2023, and to keep it affordable to the maximum number of participants, we are raising funds to subsidize instructor and class fees.

We plan to have a ping pong table set up at the venue and a couple of our class instructors on hand from 888TTC, so a handful of lucky Pints For Parkinson’s attendees will get to try their skills out against some of the best in the world!
