Hello everyone and welcome to the Fall Edition of SJPW. The San Jose Photo Walk was created in 2022 to bring together photographers to network, create, and grow the creative community in San Jose and the South Bay Area!
The SJ Photo walk has drastically grown from 30 people at the first walk to over 100 people at the recent walk in February, 2023. To provide the best experience and better organize large crowds, this upcoming event will be capped at 100 people and registration is required. Event is completely free! 🙂
We will be meeting at Alviso Marina County Park in Alviso.
All types of photography are welcomed to this event. If you shoot film, digital, pinhole, Polaroid, Lomography, Instax, DSLR, Film SLR, Phone, etc, it’s all welcomed! We encourage everyone to use what they have and would love to see all the experimental cameras and ways people document the scene!
Models, photographers and creatives are all welcome to join in! Costumes are welcome as well since this event is closer to Halloween, so feel free to dress a little wild or wear a costume!
Also please note that harassment in any form will not be tolerated at SJ Photo Walk! You will be asked to leave if you are causing issues or making anyone feel uncomfortable, which may also lead to you being banned from future events.
By registering, you are releasing the SJ Photo Walk team from any liability related to the commonplace dangers of an event in such a public location, including but not limited to the actions of persons with whom our group will be sharing the space, inclement weather, walking near traffic, etc.
